Shoulder Sleeve InsigniaEdit

  • Description : A disc 2 1/2 inches (6.35cm) in diameter divided horizontally blue and white, a Roman numeral X – 1 1/2 inches (3.81cm) high with 1/8 inch (.32cm) members throughout, counterchanged, to be worn with blue field uppermost.
  • Symbolism : The composition of this design alludes to the numerical designation of the unit; blue and white are the colors of corps distinguished flags.
  • Background : The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved for the X Corps on 19 Aug 1942. It was redesignated on 11 Sept 1958 for the X U.S. Army Corps.
