  • Name = the name of the individual
    • name in bold = Served after December 31, 1945
  • Date of rank = date in which was promoted (** beside date indicates posthumous promotion to rank from that date)
  • Age = age at appointment
  • Date Vacated = date in which the individual left commission
  • Reason = reason for the exiting of commission
    • Retirement = the person would leave rank upon retirement
    • Promotion = promoted to a higher commissioned rank
    • Demotion = demoted to a lower commission rank
    • Termination = commission terminated due to disobedience
    • Cashiered = dishonorable termination of commission
    • Death = either killed in battle or died in natural causes
  • Branch = branch in which the individual last served with in the Regular Army
  • Birthplace = place of birth of the individual
  • School = any military school the individual attended before Regular commission
  • = Killed in action or died of wounds received in battle
  • † = died any other way except for in battle (example being: heart attack / stroke / "friendly fire")
